4th...or 20th!...of July

I simply can NOT believe that it is the 20th of July. I have said for a while that I feel like it's March still, so the fact that it is the end of July is just wild to me. Our 4th of July week was a little bit rough - I had a bout of some sort of stomach bug or food poisoning the Sunday of the week, so I was recovering for most of the week. We did manage to have a nice day at home on the 4th including some matching t-shirts, water fun (including ice boats that we made) and a yummy dinner of grilled chicken, roasted potatoes, corn on the cob and some fruit (red (strawberries) white (marshmallows!) and blue (blueberries)) kabobs. Next year we hope to venture out to fire works...this wasn't the year with how I was feeling and with Lucy still being so little. We hated to miss them, but couldn't imagine a) waiting until 9:30pm when they all go to bed at 7ish and b) the drive home at 10 or 10:30 in traffic. SO, Matt and I turned on PBS when at 9pm and enjoyed the Washington DC fire works for a little bit. Cousin's Camp is in 8 days...we are excited to say the least! Many pictures to come, I promise! Cousins Camp Olympics will be going on, so stay tuned to for results and scores :)
